A Talk with Rafram Chaddad

Thoughts on Isolation

Ten years ago, Rafram Haddad found himself imprisoned for 5 months in a tiny cell at Abu Salim prison in Tripoli, Libya. From his current home in Tunisia, he will talk about his experience of isolation in solitary confinement compared to self-isolation today, about time that moves at a different pace, about daydreaming and reliving dreams. He will also discuss life in Tunisia compared to life in Tel Aviv, the different art scenes, the differences in governmental support for culture in Corona times, and why everybody, everywhere, can’t seem to stop cooking.

Just before Passover, join us on Tuesday, 9pm local Israel time (7pm, sunset time in Tunisia)
Bring a cocktail.
The talk will be held in Hebrew
