Discussion with Sara Reisman, Udi Edelman and Yael Frank

Thinking of public art and its limitations in the context of the current shut down of public space in our cities, and the change in social sphere as a whole. Sara Reisman, Executive and Artistic Director of Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation and previously the director of New York City’s Percent for Art program, will be talking about public art projects, citing examples of realized and unrealized commissions. Udi Edelman, director of the Israeli Centre for Digital Art and founder of the Institute for Public Presence will talk about contemporary art presence in the Israeli public space. They will join in conversation with artist Yael Frank.
