Daniel Kiczales
Kiczales is an interdisciplinary artist whose work integrates video, sound, performance, and music. His practice involves processes of deconstruction and analysis of imagery, site-specific actions, and compositions that explore the relationships between sound, place, and action. He has exhibited his work in Israel and internationally, including at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art; the New Gallery at Teddy Studios, Jerusalem; the Tea House Gallery at Hansen House, Jerusalem; the Haifa Museum of Art; the Rockefeller Museum, Jerusalem; KRONA Museum, Uden, Netherlands; Triumph Gallery, Moscow; Labirynt Gallery, Lublin, Poland; Kunsthalle Hannover, Germany; the Venice Architecture Biennale, and more.
His works are part of the Israel Museum collection, the Haaretz collection, and various private collections. He is a recipient of creation grants from the Pais Foundation and the Plums Fund. As a musician, he has released two solo albums and three albums as part of the duo “Yapim Im Jeeps” and has composed soundtracks for theater, film, and art projects.
