Dana Venezia is a visual artist and filmmaker. She works predominantly with moving image, exploring the versatile boundaries between fiction and documentary. In her work Dana weaves real-life footage into invent- ed story lines, representing an often distorted reality through the fantastic lens.

Venezia holds a Bachelors degree from Tel Aviv University and a Masters in Fine Arts from the Royal College of Arts in London. Her films have been screened in museums, galleries and film festivals worldwide and she recently concluded a year long residency at the Jan Van Eyck Academy in The Netherlands.
